I know tou can use gel superglue for moss but can I also use it for things like Anubis & Java Fern?

Yes, the safe gel kind, forget the name - looked it up cyanoacrylate.

A cool trick I learned at an aquascaping demonstration is to take, some of the substrate, or sand if you have substrate that wouldn't really cover it well, and sprinkle it onto the glued spots - after sticking the plant to the spot, or they can show up white /filmy in the tank if not covered.

Might take a few applications of thinner layers and a couple spots to help it stay put, to get it to stick on bigger and heavy plant like a larger Anubias.

And it should be at the side or some place not to stop leaf or root growth.
