going planted for fry tank

I have a 2.5 gallon tank for my fry but I have some questions


1 what light do I buy?
2 will black sand be ok?
2 what are hardy easy plants can I have?

For my old fry tank (5.5g) I had some Ludwigia Repens, Java Moss, and some Java Fern. I put in some Flourite for substrate but black sand will suffice. I wouldn't really do the Ludwigia with sand though. For my light I used just a simple desk lamp and everything grew great!

Actually, if you go look at my thread "Evolution of My Tank" my 5.5g was transformed to a Shrimp tank. I have a few pictures up there if you'd like to see.
