Gold mystery snail

Ok, I have a gold mystery snail in my eco-perfect tank. The other day I looked at him/her and he/she had cracked her shell. She has live plants, sand substrate and lives with 10 small gold zebra Danios. She's bigger than any of the fish and I've never seen them have any interest in him/her. They have an AZoo sponge filter and 50 watt heater. Any ideas, I'm stumped?

Snail shells are built from the inside out. This may be a calcium deficiency. Google "cracked snail shell" and see what comes up. Also check pH levels.

I did some research. The Ph is fine I am though going to crush a few egg shells and put in the tank to work on the calcium aspect. He/she seems to be healing the crack pretty well on her/his own it has never widened and exposed snail.
