gravel vac?

how would you gravel vac a tank like this one?
it's not my tank but i'm working on a carpet like it. i dont have a carpet yet. actually what i have is a bunch of mesh. what do i do?

you wouldnt but if you wanted to its all riccia that needs to be replanted every month or so so when it pulls up and out then you gravel vac.

it has to be replanted? will it completely leave the mesh?

will it have adverse effects on my tank if i dont gravel vac because of the layer of riccia?

yes it wont root. its a floating plant. no no bad effect just go over the top sucking dirt up.
