Hey guys ?

So my 75g has been seeing some minor algae problems and I figured everything was just settling in so I didn't worry about it.

Specs:
75g planted tank

Finnex planted plus 48 inch
Light on for 6 hours a day
NO direct sunlight

Dose Flourish, Flourish Excel, and API LeafZone in every other day intervals. I dose Flourish Excel every day.

I do a 50% PWC on all my tanks every sat/sun.

Run a MarineLand Penguin 350B(rated for 70 gallons) and a Cascade Penn Plax 1000(rated 100 gallons) for filtration.

Added a UV sterilizer to see if it would help a few days ago.

Tank temp: 75 F
pH: 7.4
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 20 (it's water change day today)

I have a bunch of plants.
Wisteria
Java fern
Cryptocoryne wendetii
Assorted sword plant
Bacopa Carolina
Amazon sword
Java moss
Hornwort
Dwarf water lettuce
Rotala Indica
Staurogyne Repens
Water sprite
Anarchis
Pennywort
Jungle Val
Anubias nana
Cardinalis
Pogostemon Helferi

Fish:
5 black skirt tetras
5 cherry barbs
4 turquoise Rainbowfish
1 bolivian ram
1 angelfish
1 dwarf gourami
1 pictus cat
1 ropefish
1 dojo loach and 1 baby(housed in another tank till bigger)
1 Raphael catfish

I scrub off the algae every other day but it seems to just keep coming back and not sure what I'm doing wrong... Any advice would be appreciated.

I would really like some pictures of this algae.

How long has the UV sterilizer been in place? Is it helping?

Best I got till it grows back tommorow. I just cleaned the tank/replant earlier before posting

UV has helped with water clarity but haven't seen any difference in algae.

Does it rub off easy?
Does it have an earthy smell?

if it does it could be cyanobacteria.
but i don't have enough info to make a for sure identification.
