Can anyone recommend the best way to deal with green spot algae? I've looked online and am finding multiple answers. I have it in both my high and low tech tanks, mainly on the glass but some on slow growers like anubias and java fern. Thanks.

A good bit of elbow grease can take care of most of the stuff on the glass. I took a paper towel and just rubbed hard. I suppose an H2O2 or excel spot treatment would work or at least help.

You can use a razor blade for the glass and the green spot on the plants you can grab some small nerite snails (maybe the horned ones as they stay really small) mine always ate the green spot algae after like a week so I bet they would do it for you too.

OR you can just remove the that have it as most AQ plants grow leaves easily.

I tried that the anubias grows way to slow, works on the java fern. Thx for the advice though.

Any time! I hope the green spot clears up soon because it can be a little annoying.

Good luck, - Raymond
