Growing Dwarf Hair Grass

Hello again...

The Dwarf hair grass project is going nicely. The tank is set up with the substrate and I put in the plants. I set up a couple of small LED lamps for lighting. An air stone will help to move the tank water around the tank. I also added some root tabs, so the grass should show signs of growth in a couple of weeks. The tank is a 20 gallon long. Attached is a photo.

Those may not be the LEDs you're wanting for this project.

Hi Brook...

You may be right. But after setting them up, it appears I'm getting pretty good coverage. The LEDs are somewhat brighter than my florescents and as inexpensive.

Hello Brook...

Slowly, unfortunately. It's interesting, though. I haven't seen much in the way of growth, but the plants haven't really died either. I still see a lot of green areas. I'm going to let things alone until the end of this month. At this point, I'll do a little digging around to see if there's anything that resembles rooting.
