I need to hook a co2 unit into my tank and get a couple
Of American flag fish. Also I need to remove my jewel cichlids because they are bullying all the fish to one end which means the algae eaters I have now can't get to the side of the tank where the algae is.

I would say manual removal to get the majority of it will be best. Use a toothbrush to twirl around the strands to pick up as much as you can and then perhaps your fish will clean it up. Reducing your lighting and upping the water changes will help as well. Can you give me some info on the tank?

Tank size
Nitrates
Stocking

My Siamese algae eaters got big and keep it under control along with my co2 system.

Yeah I still remove some manually but the alar eater take care of most of it now.
