any tips on making a sword flower (or at least, send out a flower stalk)

my sword is getting humungous, and I'd like it to spawn again so I can have some more swords for other planted tanks.

I've read all sorts of conjecture on the matter, from changing the photoperiod to drastic changes in water chemistry / temperature to changing the spectrum of the lighting from blue bias to red bias.

the last time my sword spawned, it did so on it's own, as my tank was being stored at my folks, and was receiving very little attention from anyone.

it gets lots of attention now, and the growth is supurb, but it's not flowering any more.

any tips are appericated.

If it wasn't almost winter, I'd say put it outside in a pond. My anacharis was flowering all summer, something which apparently is fairly rare for it to do indoors.
