Help me plant this Edge!

So I'm afraid that I slacked off on my water changes and the nitrates were slightly higher than I expected them to be (maybe a little bit above 20ppm, so still not too much I thought) and I lost three shrimp in the past week, but I also got a 16" finnex stingray to run a couple hours a day instead of my desk work lamp. I'll be more vigilant my water parameters, but in the meantime I'll leave you with what the stingray does:

And as an addendum, I'll say that I'm not sure that I'm 100% happy with it in that it kind of takes over the top of the tank, but I can't deny that it lights it up!

I don't think the light looks bad sitting on the tank. Nice plants!
