i currently have a power glo 20 w light bulb on my 30 gallon tank could you advise me on plants i could keep with this bulb
help with lighting

You're looking at low light stuff only. I'd stick with anubias, java fern, and java moss. Really, I don't think that light will support many others.

thank you for your quick reply is there a higher watt bulb i go get that would support some other plants i really like cobomba plants i can onli have the pin bulbs as thats all that will fit into my hood

Not without upgrading fixtures. You'd need twice that much light to venture in to the typical low light stuff, and much more to go medium/high light plants.
