I agree, I don't know exactly what fixture you have though, if it has sub-par reflectors on it then it probably won't be as demanding.

It's the aqueon fixture from PETCO thanks for the link I had no idea. Looks like I need to look into some DIY CO2 methods or really raise my lights. I didn't realize that the lighting I bought was that good.

a good background plant is cabomba and when it grows high just cut and replant what u just cut and it will grow its an amazing plant and I'm in the middle of growing a 55g moss wall their cool but a pain to start

That sounds similiar to ambulia! Ambulia grows really fast and Ive had them for 1month and they are huge now with my new shots!
