Help Please..

I know there are different responses that can come from this...but i want to know for my specific situation. I have a 40 gallon tank (36x18x17) with a Fluval 306 canister filter, and a 300 watt aqueon heater. I have 3 plants in my tank and plan to get more. As of right now, i have 9 almost full grown guppies and 3 small zebra danios. i know i can fit a good bit of fish but i wanted to know around the number. I am hoping to get a variety of fish i really don't want all one or two kinds of species. I do about a %10 water change every week, so i maintain my fish quite well. Please if you would let me know about how many fish i can house it would be appreciated. Thank you ahead of time. :fish2:

Like what was said, about 15 more fish or depending in size/bio load, should also get some bottom dwellers. One thing I do suggest when you reach your goal of fish is to increase your weekly water change to 40-50%, more fish =more waste in the water. You can get away with just the 10 now because you don't have much in there.
