My RTL keeps putting out these huge leaves every three or four days. They reach to the surface shading out some other mid- ground plants. I recently saw some videos of Dutch style aquascapes where the RTL was perfectly shaped into a small hedge shape. Does anyone have any idea on how to prune this plant so that the leaves grow smaller and form a hedge shape? Thanks
J

The only thing I've done with them is just trim off the ones that are going for the surface and leave the ones that stay low. I've had some plants in the same tank do totally opposite things, so I don't know if there's a standard method.
