Hydrogen pyroxide

I use 3% .. dip twice for 20 seconds each. Pour in a bowl, Dip ... rinse off with tap, dip with new H. Peroxide again ... then rinse with tank water.

EDIT ... dip the plants for 20 seconds each.

Yep.. Don't know how the plant would do in for 20 min. 1 minute however is doable, I did it once or twice when I got distracted for min.
 
Shouldve washed the anibius yesterday in h pyroxide. Crs freaked out. Ended up binning the plant for the sake of the shrimp
 
use a ziploc, and pour the peroxide on the plants in the bag. Then I sit for 2-5 minutes. Then under the tap, and then into a bowl of De-chlorinated water. Then I plant them in the aquarium. No snails, no incoming pathogens.
 
I rinse the plants well with 3% H2O2 and plant directly in the tank. It's perfectly safe in that small amount and breaks down very quickly in light.
