Yep, I'd try it like this for now, since a 30L is shorter than a standard 29g so the light doesn't need to reach as far down. You can always step it up in 5 minutes time once you have your co2 in place .

That's what I was thinking the tank is more long than tall so im thinking this will work well. I am really excited....

I have a thought on a DIY project.....for the Co2 I think I will post it in DIY threads...
