I agree, it would bug me a little bit too. I only run my lights four hours and I hate that's all I get to view my tank!

Ahh that'd kill me. Haha I guess its some of my OCD qualities coming out lol. That's part of why I love my reef tanks so much, 10hour light cycle! While my fresh is on 6

thank you thank you thank you searched the web for answers and found this, had covered lots of things EXCEPT the actinic lights still on my reef hood, whilst im waiting for the 67k geismann bulbs and 2 65k starcoats to replace the reef t5 x 4's that came with it i have NEVER seen algae like the hair algae on my plants right now, i had co2 water changes, had changed the photoperiod, but not taht much, this is great great advice thanks!
