Here's how you do it with the mobile app. A bit tedious though.
While viewing a post, touch the three dots in the upper right corner
Select Share from the menu
Select Message
In the new message that appears, cut (not copy) the message text
Cancel the message
Paste the cut text to a new post (or text editor and cut and paste later to a new post)
Place a beginning URL tag ( bracket + "[" + "URL" + "]" ) before the "http" and the end URL tag at the end of the URL ( bracket + "[" + "/URL" + "]"
Alternatively, you can click on the three dots on the bottom right of the new post page. Select BBCode>URL. It will place the tags on the post for you. The hard part is pasting the URL within the two tags (I have meat hook fingers and using a cell phone).
