After having plants in Eco-Complete for a few weeks, it seemed to pack down and make it hard to re-root or add new plants. Is this a problem for anyone else?

Try using tweezers for planting. Then is it very easy to replant, and minimizes the mess created. You can also sink roots very deep making plants stay down better.

I'm using grabbers since I don't know any good tweezers that can reach 21" to the bottom of the tank. Sometimes the grabbers are wonderful. Other times too much manipulation is needed to get it right and I just break down and use my hand.

My hands are in there so much they look like prunes :)
I only got the grabber recently because I was concerned about how much body oil I've been leaving in the tank.
