Iron Chelate Dosing?
Does any know what a good starting dose for iron chelate from Greg Watson's would be? I do use Greg Watson's trace, but my iron test reads 0 ppm. I have some SeaChem Iron (liquid), that I am using up at a reduced dosage to supplement and the entire tank looks better with it. I'm just not sure how the dry iron from G.W. dose will compare to SeaChem's liquid dose. My guess would be 1.2 mL, or 1/4 teaspoon, but really don't know.

No need to dose iron separately unless you are trying to do some really advanced things with your tank. The CSM+B should be sufficient. You can use this calculator to make sure you're dosing the correct amount. Also the Hobby Grade Test Kits for Iron really aren't accurate enough for our use.
