Is purigen worth the price

I might order some purigen by seachem to help clean the tannins out of my aquarium. However petsmart only has the large litre container for 50 bucks is it worth it.

I have used the same bag of purigen for a few years. It works great and lasts a long time with recharging. I think it is worth it.

It comes loose so what kind of bag did you put it in.

You can put it in a mesh filter bag. Most petsmarts and petcos carry them. If not you can get them at a reef store or online. You might find the purigen cheaper online as well.

I use dollar store mesh laundry bags to hold media. Works fine.
