So I just got finished with my tank. I have had it for a few months now and have came from plastic plants to now stocking only live plants. I am still switching around fish from time to time to see what really works best. I plan on putting in one last change of a couple fish before I leave it be for a while. It took me a couple weeks to realized that fish will keep even plants regardless of how much you feed them hahaha. So I do not have any plant eaters in there right now.

I have a Aquaticlife Dual T5 HO for my lighting. And for my filtration I have a Eheim ECCO 2232 canister. I am currently using the Red Sea co2. I want to eventually upgrade to something with a little better quality but do no have the funds at the moment. Everything runs pretty ok but I want to what else will help plant growth within the tank. I put potassium supplements in the tank usually every water change. I also have a couple siamese algae eaters to help the plants a little from algae killing the plants. So the big question would be how can I help my plant growth? And what else would I need to help improve growth? Let me know what you guys think, I got some more pics ill be postin soo check back.... thanks

I am a little unsure as to what the exact names of the plants are, hopefully these pictures will help. Any guess as to what they are

I think some of the plants are:

1. Cabomba

2. hairgrass

3. Baby tears?

4. Sword plant?

5. This actually looks like asparagus fern to me ( not a true aquatic).

Hopefully a more experienced member will chime in soon.
As for lighting, it certainly sounds like you have enough if you are running dual T5HO lamps. Do you know how many watts per gallon you are getting.
I would say making sure you have a good balance between light, nutrients, and Co2 is the key to good plant growth.
