It's hot outside - shipping considerations

Those of you that ship plants, fish, shrimp, etc often, what do you do in warmer weather? such as it's 100 degrees outside right now.

Tomorrow I intend on shipping some plants and some shrimp off outta here. Are cold packs effective or necessary? I've seen the hard packs, and the reusable yet disposable soft packs available. Should I consider these? Is there reason to believe that if I pack up in the morning with a frozen pack, that the little guys will freeze while sitting in the PO before they begin their transport?

Generally if it's over 100 degrees or under freezing I don't ship plants. For Shrimp I line the box with styro sheets forming a makeshift styro box, which allows them to be shipped during the warmer and cooler months. Still if the temperatures are really extreme, I just don't ship.
