So I have a java fern where I have it I dont like it there lol can I plant it in the sand or should I let it be on the wood where I dont like it... everything says let the roots flow just want more opinions

You can put it in the sand... if you can get it to stay. If it has nice long roots coming off the rhizome, its much easier. Just be sure to keep the rhizome up above the sand.
