So I have had a Java fern in my low tech (no co2, lowish lighting) planted tank. Ever since I bought it it has had brownish tips and brown specks on it. Every so often a leaf will die, but it keeps on sprouting new leaves so i'm not worried about the plant dying. Im just curious what i can do to make sure my plant stays green. Oh and I also dose API leaf zone every two weeks.
