I hear they are some of the easiest plants to take care of, and should be tied to a rock or driftwood. Now do I need to get a special light for the plants? I dont know what kind of light I currently have I got a Top fin kit from petsmart that came with filter and hooded light. Its a fluorescent light, i just did a search.

That light will be fine. There is also water sprite for low light

What is water sprite.. NVM just looked it up. So these plants dont need any special attention as far as special soil or extra nutrients? Is it pretty much put them in the tank, attached to drift wood or a rock and just go?

Anubias and Java fern do not need to be attached to a rock or piece of wood. they can be planted in the substrate, but the rhizome, which is the stem the leaves are attached to, needs to be above the substrate.
