Java moss or not ?

I got some java moss of eBay and it looks pretty simular to this stuff I found walking around the lake while fishing is this java moss or not would it be OK to stick it in my tank after a good soak or not take the risk ?

This stuff come from the side of the lake growing over mud at the edge of the lake but looked like java to me so brought abit home to how it goes don't wanna stick it in the tank till I get the confirmation of you guys

I would quarantine it like what you do with fish, then add a guppy and see if there's any ill effects.
