My tank is still cycling, wanted something to help with the nitrate level and read up where plants can help. I picked up about four plants that I read were low light/low maintenance plants such as Java fern, anubias, water wisteria and hygrophila. I have gravel in my aquarium and stuck the plants in just far enough to get some weight so they don't float to the top of the tank. Even though these are supposed to be low maintenance plants, do they require plant food or do I have to do anything special with them? Thanks!
