Just started cycling a planted 10gal

what are these orange dots on my java fern? set this tank up 2 days ago and just started adding bacteria and ammonia.

Those appear to be reproductive spores. I believe plantlets will eventually develop from them.

Yes those are where spores come from. Can't remember from my plant bio class what they're called, but it's a characteristic of ferns.
