Looking for some advice. I recently purchased some "grass" from my LFS. Though there are other plants in my 38gal the fish seem to have taken a liking to pulling the grass out of the sand substrate. This morning was the 3rd straight day I had to tuck it back into the sand. Any suggestions? Was thinking of tying it to a rock with fishing line or something. Also, if someone could identify my "grass" that would be cool too.

Your plant looks like lilaeopsis brasiliensis aka 'Micro sword'.

As far as securing it goes... that may be difficult. You may try burying it deeper if you can. If you can find a way to anchor it down without blocking out too much light, it would be a good temp fix until it roots itself.

I thought the same thing when I saw it. I had the same issue with dhg when I got it. Somebody suggested to me using angled tooth picks to hold it down. I never did it but in the pics he showed me it looked like it worked well.
