Kno3 shipping to canada

Just wondering if anyone knows of a site that will ship KNO3 in Canada, unfortunately I haven't been able to find any here. Would Canadian sites be able to ship it?

I think Canada outright banned KNO3. Short of getting a explosives license, you might be out of luck.


That being said, you can use CaNO3 and K2SO4 as a substitute without too much issue.

That is quite unfortunate, means I won't be able to get the fert package I am looking at. But I suppose that looking into those two wont be much of a struggle. Any idea how those will affect a 20g with 2 24w t5ho 6500k bulbs? Moderately planted, with a few big nutrient suckers in it.

The net result of using CaNO3 is that your water will be a little harder, but likely negligibly so if your water has any hardness to it really.

I got some from the hydroponic shop here in Ontario 500g for 4.99
