Last plea for green water cure before total tear down - Page 3 - Aquarium Advice

After fighting green water for months, I fixed the problem investing on a [acronym:e66b336cd5="Ultra Violet"]UV[/acronym:e66b336cd5] filter. It cleaned the water in 4-5 days and I have not seen GW ever again

It works like a charm!

I know how you feel, believe me! But don't give up Fish-4-all. If I did it everybody can!

That's about the fourth recommendation I have seen from somebody recommending some huge and/or expensive filter. We're talking about a 10 gallon tank, people.

Let's not be silly, too. Clown loaches hardly ever reach 12 inches in the home aquarium. Five to six inches is the average, and even that takes forever to do! They certainly do grow slowly.

My first advice would be to lose the sponge filter. Let the [acronym:0f47e5f2f9="Hang On Back"]HOB[/acronym:0f47e5f2f9] do all of the work.

If I did it everybody can! __________________ Gracias amigos! 5 g w/ Minows 30 g planted: 3 aurulious barbs, 4 tiger barbs (2 green), 2 Gold barbs, 1 lemon fin barb 75 g planted:1 dwarf gouramis, 4 guppies, 1 sword tail, 1 SAE, 1 gold gourami, 4 black phantom tetras, 3 serpae tetras, 6 brilliant rasboras, 2 diamond tetras, 10 rummynose, 1 blush koi angel (huge!), 3 clown loaches, 3 yo yo loaches, 1 golden nugget, 2 GBR 10 gal QT tank -almost always going with new "projects"
