Aquarium Advice Apprentice
Hi I'm new to this forum, but have kept tropical fish for a few years now. Have a 4ft bow fronted planted community aquarium and is going very well.
Anyways the reason I'm posting my first thread is I've just brought an aquatlantis horizon deco nano tank, it's 54 litres!
I'm planning on having a heavily planted aquascape with a carpet of hc Cuba among other things! I shall be using fluorite as the substrate and will dose easy carbo and a liquid fertiliser daily!
But my question is regarding the led lights that are built onto the hood over the open top aquarium (approx 10 inches above the water line). There are 76 LEDs and it says gives 6w.
I've never used led lights before (I'm used to t5 tubes), so do you think this is enough light for a planted nano tank and to grow hc Cuba? It's very bright but going on the watts I'd say it's a low light set up, what do you guys think?
