LED lights for plants?

Was also thinking we spend alot of $ on heating
our tanks ,could the heat from led's be used to some
how maintain 27 deg or is that just trying to get to
tricky

It might be possible. A bit of piping, a controller, a solenoid, a powered valve and a sump, wouldn't want the heating rig in the display tank. Honestly though, considering the price of aquarium heaters, it just would not be worth the time and effort.
