Aquarium Advice Freak
I have a 30gal that was very lightly planted. I didn't really pay a lot of attention to what I was putting in or how I took care of them. The result was one healthy Java Fern, and a lot of empty space. I just purchased a plant package and I think I would like to provide the tank a litte more light. Right now it has the single T8 20W fixture it came with. The buld is a 6700K Glo-Life and it is about 16" about the substrate. I am looking for a reasonably inexpensive fixture that will work with my hood and would get me between 1 and 1.5 WPG. Suggestions? Has anybody used Nova or Perfecto?
