Could incandescent bulbs cause the water to heat up in a 10 gallon tank? also would these bulbs cause algae to grow?

I swap out my incandescent for screw in CFLs. Better light for my plants. Try to get a 6500k light or close to that for plants.

My cheap lights grow my jungle.

Don't overfeed fish, keep good water quality, PWCs weekly and you'll have less chance of algae. I have almost zero Algae.
My plants out compete it and my Otos and Nerites keep walls clean.
