I am looking to plant my 15 gallon tall aquarium. I already have a good short list of low light plants but I was wondering if I would need a stronger light because it needs to penetrate through deeper water? I was hoping to just use the lights that came with the tank and I can find more details about the light I have if needed.

if your sticking with low light plants you should be fine, just make sure the bulb is in the 5000k-8000k temperature range. It should say somewhere on the bulb.

All I could find on the light is this stuff:
120 volts
20 watts
60 Hz
T5
Made by Aqueon

These were some of the plants I was thinking:
Java Fern
Java Moss
Horn Wort
Anubias

Sorry for the late reply I have been kinda busy
