Lighting for an old 10gal

I'm looking to turn my old 10 gallon tank into a planted aquarium. I've got the substrate figured out (thanks to this forum) and now I've got a question or two on lighting. If I had a standard lighting fixture this would be pretty easy as the lighting faq has all the info I could need. My aquarium (top fin brand... yes I know it's cheap, but I'm broke and it's what I've already got) has a spot for two screw in type bulbs. It has a silicone "gasket" around where you would screw in the bulb, and there is no fiberglass barrier in between the light and the water like in most tanks. In any case I'm looking for replacement bulbs that would be suitable for a planted aquarium.

This is one thing that I've been looking at, and I can always go with an incandescent bulb if that won't work. I'm guessing that incandescent bulbs will not provide the required lighting to make a planted aquarium work.

Is that the type of bulb I should be looking at? What do I need to get something in the range of 1.5-2 W/gal? Two of those seem like the right answer.

Thanks in advance,
Jeff

Walmart has screw-in CF bulbs that look really good. I think they are called Sunlight or something to that effect (6500K). I believe a 2-pk is $8.84 or so. They come in 10w, 15w, and 20w as far I as I know...

Excellent!

I definitely can't beat that price. Thanks for the help.

I just plugged in what I have now, and it definitely isn't enough (just by the looks).
