Lighting for first planted tank
I posted earlier about a light fixture that I wanted to get(Coralife 24" 2x36w) but after seeing my tank is 30" long, not 24 would the Coralife 30" 2x65w with mounting legs, making my tank open air, work? I dont mind the price tag as long as it works. I also understand i'd need to add CO2 which is fine. I'd like to be able to have a larger range of plant choices. Tank is 29g btw.

That fixture will work just fine. You can turn only one of the bulbs on, if you don't want to deal with CO2 right away. With both bulbs on and CO2 you will be able to grow just about anything you want.
