I currently have 4 18 watts T 5 6500 K which is equivalent to 72 watts on a 21.4 gallon planted tank with co2 this comes out to about 3.3 watts per a gal I was considering getting a quad 96 w fixture which would raise it to 4.4 watts per gallon any opinions would be appreciated thank you

How tall is your tank? Have you considered LED? A quad (t8 or t5?) could be a ton of light, which is great if that's what your goals are but buying and replacing those bulbs could get a little costly.
