Ok here is the deal I have a 2 X 65 watt light CF light fixture on my 100 gal. tank and I was just given a 55 gal tank with a coralife 4 x 95 watt light fixture on it. I was wonderin if I could take the insides out of the 48 inch light fixture and out of the 60 inch fixture and switch them. So that I would have the stronger lights in my 60 inch setup.
hope this makes since to someone else as to what i am trying to ask.

If you're handy and can do some simple wiring it can probably be done. Are the 2 fixtures the same width?

yes the fixtures are the same width so maybe I can find and electrician to switch them out lthanks

i would suggest staggering the 48" bulbs so you get full light coverage over the tank and the most light in the center 36" section.
