Long time no post- ( lighting question for 90gal)

I'm currently running 3 (54w) T5ho 6700k x 5000k x 6700

I want a more crisper color. I'm thinking of 6700k x 10,000k or 18,000k x 6700k

I'm currently adding Pacific Blue Rainbows (Pseudomugil Signifer) and want to make their silver body and blue eyes pop! without compromising my plants.

Suggestions please?

10k or 18k bulbs.

I run a mix of 6700K and 10000K and the tank is very bright and the plants grow very well.

I agree that going to 10000K will probably give you a better blue color. It might also depend on what brand of bulbs you're using, as some have stronger blue emissions, like giesemann.
