Hi everyone! I was curious if anyone knows if bamboo is poisonous to fish (if they eat it or by being present in the water)? I know it is poisonous to cats & dogs if they ingest it (vet tech in pre-mommy life). I was searching online & im reading conflicting information in respect to fish.... thanks!

No it's not poisonous. It can potentially rot since it's not really an aquatic plant, but I've had success with it.

If your referring to the Bamboo you get at Petsmart / Petco, not poisonous and nearly indestructible plants. I've had two for 7 months in my 75gal covered by Brown Algae and they still grew a bit. They're now in my son's tetra tank. IMO an underrated aquarium plant.

Lucky bamboo is not poisonous!
It xn rot in water but you should keep the leaf stalks out of water and it should grow well!
