Moss Balls

I have nø special lighting and wanted to put in a moss ball or two in my 10g. Does that seem like an okay idea. (wanted to add some visual appeal and fun for my shrimp and cory's)

I have nø special lighting and wanted to put in a moss ball or two in my 10g. Does that seem like an okay idea. (wanted to add some visual appeal and fun for my shrimp and cory's)

Hello Tank...

Moss does fine in low light, but it doesn't do much in the growth department. It does look unusual in the tank. I have a couple. One thing, you need to move the ball regularly if you want it to stay round. Other than that, it doesn't require much maintenance.

Java fern, java moss and moss balls all do fine in low light.
