ok so you have objects in place ,water in the aquarium and you want to move a few things around but your aquarium is very deep and if you put your arm in there water has the possibility of spilling over so how do you move things around?

A pair of tongs... Or two long sticks if your good with chopsticks. ;)

depending on how deep it is you can get one of those grabber things you see people picking trash up with... like 10 dollars at home depot

Unless it's urgent, why not just wait until you do a PWC?

+1

That's what I do, but I also have this foldable garden tool from petco. Has grippers, scissors and it was only $8 :). It's called "Aquatic Gardener".

Works great when you need to do whatever and don't want to do a PWC.

Ignore my water color, going thru a tannin pruge with new DW :p.

+1 for waiting until PWC time. I've overflowed my 20H a few times by sticking my arm in the tank.
