My corkscrew vals - Aquarium Advice

I bought some corkscrew vals from the lfs a couple months ago, and was told they would grow the top of the tank. They are now about 10-12 inches and looking very healthy, but they don't seem to be getting any taller. After some more research, I've found that they probably won't get any taller. I have read about contortion vals which are supposedly the tall version of corkscrew vals, but no one around here sells them. I've also looked on aquabid.com and a few other places with no luck. Does anyone have any ideas where I could find a good amount of these plants online?
