I've read different places that some people turn on airstones during the night but off during the day. I dont currently have an airstone, but my internal filter does the same thing it would.
Could I trick my plants into thinking day is night? If I kept the lights off during the day, (the tank doesn't get direct sunlight) and turned them on at night, with the bubbles going through the day, would photosynthesis occur during the night? If I did that, I wouldn't have the noisy bubbles going while I'm sleeping, and the lights look best at night...
