Need a foreground plant!

Hey guys ive got a 40b with dual t5ho lights which leaves me at med/high I think I dose pps pro and metricide and ive had some micro chain sword thats been doing bad since I got it like 6 months ago so im wondering what a good forground plant would be

Ranalisma Rostrata is an underrated foreground plant. It stays smaller than dwarf sag and carpets fine in medium light, although I've never actually tried it in a lowtech tank. Definitely worth a shot!

What do you have for bulbs in there? Micro chain sword should not be giving you issues in that tank..

Yea im stumped too ive got one sun wave and one red wave bulbs both at 39 watts theyre t5ho bulbs ones 12,000k and the other im not sure

I'd ditch that 12k..plants are going to benefit mostly in the 5 - 10k range, 6500k seems to be the sweet spot, although many swear by 5k, I've had success with both..

Hmmm alright I actually have the 6500k bulb that I was gunna use after the 1200k gave out but I guess thats doin more harm than good

Its a false julii think theyre calles corydora trilinitus or something of that sort theyve been scattering eggs everywhere and my rams always ate em but I guess some made it =)

Haha ive been trying!!! Even put some root tabs under em but they dont wanna carpet! Im gunna try it with the new bulb I just put it on there so now I've got a 65k full spectrum and the red wave which is similar but has more red
