need help setting up planted/display tank

I have a 45 gal roughly, 165 litres. I am aussie lol. Can anyone help me out with setting up a tank with plants and fish . How many plants and fish what fish are best for a planted tank and is it easy to grow from seed or buy them also how to design and maintain healthy plants and fish. Best filtering methods temperatures and how long it will take to fully set up. I have a 2.5 foot tank its very basic with one oscar but i wanted to set up something alot more interesting and with a real natural kinda look to it. Add pictures of ddesigns information tips and anything else would me muchly apreciated and will inform everyone of my progress. Thanks in advance
