I have a freshwater tank with plant friendly fish. My fish are sand diggers so I would have to use potted. My light fixture is a t5ho dual with a full spectrum lamp and an actinic....any suggestions on plants that I can add to my tank without special needs?

I would suggest ditching the actinic unless you are super attached to it. It can be counter productive in planted tanks.

What size is your tank? Some plants work better in larger tanks, most notably sword, but you should be able to get away with a decent variety of plants depending on your tank size. Most swords, crypts, ferns, and Anubias sp. are all undemanding, easy to grow species.

Thanks for the info

My tank is 55 gal. I was hoping that the actinic would work out fine. My tank is also located right next to a large window that doesn't receive any direct sunlight. idk if that makes much difference.
